Confidential Concerns
We understand that every Seller is concerned about keeping the sale and information about their company Confidential.

Everything we do for you will begin with protecting your confidentiality.

Any information we receive from you regarding everything from the Company Name to the detail financials are protected.   How do we do this ?  Well we have very defined procedures for communicating information.
  1. Every step of our process is focused first on maintaining confidentiality.
  2. Any message we leave on the sellers voicemail only identifies us as being with CBB.
  3. If we visit your facility, we will dress in a way as to not cause attention.  We let you tell us what is appropriate.
  4. Any information we receive from you or is generated for you or the sale of the business is protected through a variety of methods.  We do not disclose the specifics of this process, but the end result is a secure environment for confidential information.
  5. We discuss no information about your business to anyone unless we have a listing agreement in place.
  6.  When marketing your business we provide only generic information about the business, nothing specific.
  7. When we talk with potential buyers, we require them to complete and sign a detail Non-Disclosure.  This form is very detail and provides very specific criteria on how to keep the information confidential.
  8. The Non-Disclosure form also has an area for them to provide us with their financial information.  If they do not have the funds to complete the transaction we notify them and no information is provided.
  9. The detail information we provide reminds them of the Confidential nature of the information again.
  10. When we bring a potential buyer in to see the business, we will advise them of the appropriate dress code and schedule the visit based on what you think works best.

The bottom line is that we do everything we can to maintain the confidentiality of your company.
